Here is the response I received from Sheraton Waikiki and I am quite annoyed as we have two rooms for 6 nights that will cost me $250 with nothing in return. I do not plan to rent a car (at least not one for each room), interned is free for plats and I use my cell phone to make calls. theres an Abott and Costello routine where they walk into their boarding house and Mr Fields asks them when they will be paying what they owe him and its $xx.xx they ask why so much and he brakes it down and says $x is for using the washer & dryer, they say but we never used it. Fields answers Boys it was there to be used just cause you didnt use doesnt mean you dont pay for it

Im 1000% against this bull , but just cause you (like myself) wont have a car isnt the Hotels problem.
What you should do is what I did the other month when I was in HNL I stayed at a non-SPG Hotel and didnt have to pay a cent in a resort fee. If you chose to still go and stay then pay up my friend
