Hi guys, I am not sure if I am posting in the wrong forum or not, but I did not find an appropriate board for my inquiry -

I saw a guy is selling Expedia $50 gift cards on eBay for $30 (you can find him very easily by a simple search, so I am not giving any link here). It seems like a really good deal to me if it totally works, that is, no restriction whatsoever.

But I'd like get others' opinion here whether there is any risk in getting that. I am currently planning to get a couple for my 2011 travel, but I won't be able to redeem them right away due to pending schedules, so I want to make sure after I buy them off ebay these gift cards will remain as good as he promises, that is, valid for one year from date of purchase.

So far, the feedback seems all good except one guy pointing out that this is not really gift card yet it still works in the same way. So, anyone here knowing better about what this really is, I'd appreciate that.
