TSA while a sub 'company' of DHS, is the problem, the buck stops at DHS. DHS is the underlying problem of the ENTIRE airport problem. DHS has employed HUNDREDS OF THOUSANDS of people who, before 9/11 werent even 'needed' yet magically, become an essential part of our bloated govt.
While we all sit here and scream and complain about the abuses of the TSA, its DHS who is labelling innocent, americans, as terrorists. TSA isnt the problem, the problem is DHS.
^^ Moreover, the DHS and TSA Headquarters components are filled with the dregs of the federal civil service. Anyone who was a failure at their previous government post, or couldn't get hired as a fed, flocked to DHS and TSA. Those few people who initially joined that were competent, fled as soon as possible, explaining why DHS has one of the highest senior leadership turnover rates in the federal government.
