Yeah, if you read the article, rather than the headline, it seems to say the opposite.
The doc says he won't go through them, because if they are not calibrated you might get zapped.
The Government guy is at best neutral and only says there needs to be a really good reason to use one... not exactly a ringing endorsement at all.
Articles like this are scary.
