One of the Wine CLub vouchers I have just been sent has the code GRTDYQ that is for 200 points WYS 20 quid, or more, on any wine. Offer is valid in store or on line. Today I bought a bottle of red and a bottle of Mumm champers which came to about 22 quid, the voucher did not work. So I went to the Customer Service desk in store and they said that the reason why the voucher would not work is that I bought champagne, not wine! So I asked to speak to the manager who repeated the fact that voucher was not valid for champagne despite the fact that the voucher said nothing of the sort, the only condition was the purchase should be "on any wine". "What about sparkling wine?" I asked. "Oh that would be OK" was the less than convincing response. Anyway I had get back to my desk so I just got a refund with the intention of calling CS later. I did call CS, long story short, after 5 calls including one to the Wine Club it was established that there is a problem with the offer code, champagne and anyother wine is ok for the offer, they just need to sort out their system. They gave 200 points for my trouble and I will be back down the store in a couple of days to try and use the voucher again....
