Late December we are flying LGW-Budapest on a BA flight operated by Malev.
We are in booking class Q and travelling in ‘Economy’ (not Euro traveller). We are both BA Silver. MMB says that “Seat choice will be available at Check in” and we can’t find any way of reserving seats.
Will we just have to rough it in the middle of economy, or will the seating gods open something up to us?
I had thought being (only) silver would have given us this ability but I suspect the Malev bit is causing the problems. BA MMB gives us the option of a paid upgrade to Business (£670 each) (which seems pricy!) and Optiontown on Malev says the flight is not Eligible for upgrade.
Will Online check in at T-24 even be available? Any assistance appreciated.
