Credit for involuntary change of carrier (CO->AS)

Hi there

Sorry if this has been answered before - I couldn't find the answer.

Had a boarding pass on CO SEA-ANC but was re-routed on AS (Alaska Air).

Will DC give credit for the re-routed (ie changed carrier *A to not *A) sector, or should I just send in the boarding pass from CO and the original itinerary and hope for the best?
