Reminds me a bit of the old Champs place. Seems to be trying to strike a balance between Gym and Splash. It's adjacent to the old Limelight, to the east of 6th Avenue. They have a really good Happy Hour, too.
I do really enjoy Boxers and it has been a refreshing addition to the NYC scene. I've found that it is also now attracting a great crowd for a good Sunday Funday, usually from 3-4pm onward.
Oh, and the $6 bar pies aren't bad either. That big, expensive pizza oven does the job quite well...
