Story on Ars Technica about how Adam Savage (one of the hosts of MythBusters) accidentally went into a TSA checkpoint with 12" Razor Blades in his jacket pocket, but only realized this after he passed through the AIT device at the checkpoint without being stopped.

So you don't even have to stuff things up body cavities to render these AIT devices ineffective - which IMO makes the rights violations even worse.
