I actually liked the executive lounge location a lot. It's along the windows on the edge of the main lobby lounge, separated by a railing and a gate. We liked it so much that we ordered dinner in the lounge. The windows looked out onto the canal. Beautiful.
Yes, we also did that and it was great to get complimentary wine in the Exec Lounge to have with the dinner. Can't think of any other hotels where you can order dinner to have in the Exec lounge.
