New to the forum but love it so far! I am wondering if its worth getting a Amex gold delta card, I dont like the annual fee but the extra 20k-30k miles may be worth it. Right now I am just short of Silver status so my 50$ gift cards cost 17.5k miles, WAYYY too much! I should get to silver in the next month. Does anyone know how much the gift cards cost then? and if I would get a amex would they go even lower? I saw something about 5k or 6500? Is this what a Amex gold holder pays? If so then the 20k miles will pay for the annual fee. Please let me know your thoughts on this. Is it worth being Silver and having the card? Both give free checked bag....
