In addition to the 4.2 upgrade there are new 4.2 specific versions of a number of apps including iWorks. The new Keynote is supposed to have better import of PowerPoint docs. I just tried importing a Powerpoint I gave earlier todaY and the import is remarkably better. Basically the whole 35 or so slide presentation imported with only a couple minor font issues which were sloppy in the original. This may move me more towards iPad only. Off to try the spreadsheet and word processing apps.
