A few days ago i booked a return business class FRA-DOH-MEL, fare was excellent (EUR 2700). There is no flight by QR to FRA on tuesdays, hence the long layover. QR's website says that business class pax may get a free hotel during such a layover. to a free hotel as my layover is not during the night hours. Even if i want to pay for a hotel (usd 150), QR in FRA can't arrange this. The suggestion is to spend my layover in the lounge....... This is my first experience with QR and you can imagine my disappointment. Also, the info on their website is totally misleading, which i told the agent in FRA. The agent agreed and told me that it
needed adjustment on the website. As if i am the first customer asking for this!
If the agent would have told me i was not entitled because of the (cheapish) fare, ok. But the reason i was given now....excusez le mot....BS.....
Can anybody give me advice how to handle? Or should i just forget about this
free stopover? Thanks
