When I started, I know I had same query.

I used to come in by typing up simply:

www.FlyerTalk.com

then you get a kind of never changing URL up top even when you change pages.

However when I click on a LINK to another page, such as :

http://www.flyertalk.com/forum/Forum94/HTML/002315.html

The heading piece all disappeared when that page opened up, and the actual URL for that page came up allowing cut and paste. Maybe try that?
