Pistole has a history of trying to deceive people, so who is going to start believing him now.

Airport security screening seeking out persons who have not yet committed a crime is different than intelligence or law enforcement agencies pursuing an individual who has already committed an identifiable crime in a known incident. Efforts by airport security screeners to do such has resulted in no good. TSA front and center.
