For a while there, I knew they could ask for a gas reciept if you drove less than 75 miles (or add $10 fuel surcharge to the bill) - but I was told that they discontinued that practice years ago. I wasn't asked for a reciept, it was just added to my bill.

Maybe I'll try National for a while....all these rental car companies are crap.
