TerryK, I believe the 5 you listed in your original question have been here since the beginning.

The other 6 are relatively new...having been added when FT had a major upgrade late last year. Guess they never bothered to update the FAQ's.

There is an even larger 'menu' of smilies than these (in use on other UBB sites), but FT chose not to implement them all, I guess.
