I think I finally have my answer to "If you don't like it, just don't fly!" and "I want to know that every person on that plane is thoroughly searched!"...

Just like you, I also don't want to die. Overall, there's much more risk to me from other drivers, though. I want to make sure they are wide awake, sober, and have no explosives or weapons in their vehicles.

To ensure that I'm safe, I'm going to wait in your driveway each morning to thoroughly inspect you, your car, and all its cargo, to ensure that I've eliminated every possible danger you could pose to me on the road. I'll also be thoroughly inspecting any children I happen to find in the car. You just can't be too safe.

If you don't like it, just don't drive.
