I feel the Elysian has the nicest, and largest, rooms in Chicago--which is staying a lot. I've eaten at Balsan, the more casual of the two restaurants, and the food was excellent.

The location, although just a few blocks from Michigan Ave., just isn't the same as being at the FS, Ritz, Park Hyatt, or Peninsula, however. It will be interesting to see where the Elysian lands. So far I'm impressed.
