Not only is that a little nerve-wracking, but given this criteria
one of the guidelines for a proper administrative search was that it could not be selective. For example, a sobriety roadblock has to check everyone to remain an administrative search. If there is a selection process, then it must be based on some indication that moves it out of the administrative search and into the law enforcement search.
does it not then completely remove itself from being contained within the purview of an administrative search?
And if that's the case, may I ask what a TSA employee would be doing administering it, and from whence s/he would derive his/her legislative/administrative authority to do so?
