I am getting closer to doing this, especially in light of being around people doing just what I wanted to do. My buddies, were connected to email vpn access and even doing some PPT's. Also one had the usb application and via the camera connection was reading data from a large usb stick. This really helped me since I plan on taking a large amount of movies on trips (and I have a couple 32GB sticks).
Now all I need to do is pull the trigger (translation spend the money).
