I've done it in the past with a couple of seatmates. Also recently at LAX, there was a young mother who was clearly struggling with her child (child was not boisterous or loud) and the stroller and having some difficulty. I offered to help the lady and to guest her into the AC to give her a moment to gather everything for her child, etc... she was grateful and I was happy to do it.
