They USED to have a program most called "SOS" - Something Special. Elites got chits, gave or sent them to the people to receive kudos. The employee could "spend" SOS coupons at the company store. The same fat cats that asked employees to squeeze all they could and granted themselves fat pension benefits killed the SOS program.

Leaving letters and e-mail. But, I'd praise the employoee in question for being very customer-service oriented, etc. etc. but NOT state s/he let you get off with due fees.. not these days, anyway.

I do congratulate you for wanting to recognize good service - and wanting to follow through with a commendation. As brp said, e-mail is easy... and aa.com has snail mail addresses too. (If you do not have a name, be as specific as possible as to location, time and date, etc.)

And thanks, PlatMom, for reminding me to write an e-mail to AA about excellent senior F/A's Billie and Nancy on March 5 AA38 DFW - ZRH / March 7 AA37 ZRH - DFW, being everything a super FA can be on very full, demanding flights. Amazing how these women could dispense smiles and service throughout long flights, and know they are also capable of evacuating aircraft, responding to emergencies, operating AEDs (Automated External Defibrillators,) etc.

"Have you walked around trying to catch someone doing somtheing right today?"
