The Scandi countries have quite strong local chains (as referenced above) and I've found businessmen will tend to stay in 3* rather than 4* chains. This changes the model slightly from the solid 4* most international properties of US chains tend to be.

You do get exceptions (the SPG Grand in Stockholm!), but it wouldn't be a repeatable model in mid-sized cities.
