I've got the opposite problem. My husband would never question authority. He would be mortified if I said I wanted to opt out, not because I would get a pat-down, but because I would be drawing attention to myself, and therefore to him. And if we missed our flight because of pat-down delays he would be very angry.

This says more about our marriage than the TSA though.
