I look at Andaz/W as trying to be younger, hipper, modern, more casual luxury hotels vs. Park Hyatt/Ritz Carlton/Four Seasons being older, traditional, more formal luxury hotels. Also I think the Andaz have the maximum potential of being a 4.5 star hotel vs. Park Hyatt is shooting for a 5 star ranking (although not all achieve that). I like both, but would always pick a Park Hyatt over an Andaz personally.
