If I sign up for gold and platinum at once, does that mean I will get gold from ORD-NRT? Then when I come back, I will also get platinum on NRT-ORD which overrides the gold status? Therefore, I would get bonus miles going over as well as coming back. I would also get the other gold benefits. CORRECT?
