03/11/2004, 04:44 [The Dallas Morning News]
American Airlines will remove food service for coach passengers on some flights from its hub at Dallas/Fort Worth International Airport, but it will add back food service to first class passengers in an effort to appeal more to its best customers.
The Fort Worth-based carrier will get rid of its "Bistro Bag" sandwiches and snacks on flights to California and the Northeast, with the exception of flights to New York and Boston.
The changes take effect April 1.
