iPod Shuffle! There is no screen. I turned shuffle off in iTunes. On the device itself, there is a bar with three indicator positions on the side - off, arrows in a loop, and arrows sort of x'd. The slider bar doesn't engage in that middle position and nothing lights and it's hard to get the bar to go just halfway - according to
this half way is the play in order position. Which I was able to find, thank you, because you told me the name of the device!
I don't want it to start where I left off, I want it to start from the beginning of either the first or the second track. I don't find anything about starting from where it left off or not.
So I think if I start it and then it begins to play and I then select the next track it will start the next track at the beginning. And I still won't know if it is track one or track two. OK. I'm trying to do something this wasn't designed to do. I'll fiddle, or see if my granddaughter has outgrown one with a display <smile>.
Thanks for the specific help! I did look for a manual before I asked here and didn't find the answer for this question. And didn't know the 'shuffle' terminology
