I did it for the first time last night, the 8pm flight from ORD to BDL, an MD-80. Coach was packed, first was absolutely empty. I think there were three of us up front.

Now the FA doted on me, gave me all the pretzels and cranapple I wanted, but I just don't think it was worth the 2 upgrades it cost me, especially since I had an exit row.

Also, interesting that the upgrades were gone from my account this morning, but the miles for the flight won't book in for a few more days.
