Many Thanks for all the informative comments. If this does open up is it exactly 7 days or is it something that I need to keep checking right up to departure or is there a wait list option with BAEC?

Am I also right in assumming that any fee paid to select a seat on the original booking automatically transfers to a seat selection option in the upgraded cabin.
