I'm heading to Manhattan for work starting 12/4 and am finding that many hotels are fully or mostly booked. Is anything going on that weekend or is this just Christmas shoppers? I've booked in Brooklyn instead, but want to see if there are either areas I should avoid or possibly an event I want to try to get to.
