I read that AMS and ATL both have the scanners, but do you think it is likely I will pass through them?

I last went through AMS to USA last christmas (about a week before the christmas day bomber), so I am thinking things have maybe changed.
I am 17 and I don't feel comfortable doing this yet. What do you think I will experience?
