It's indeed remarkable they all survived! Apparently, the operation was a success too -doesn't bode very well though for your new organ to be involved in a plane crash!

BA Eurohub was, I think, controlled by BA. They used to offer special parking or Executive Club Gold and Silver members right outside the terminal, and the Terraces lounge was very nice (then). Eurohub was a very modern terminal at the time and represented a remarkable improvement on the main terminal. The plan now appears to be be to knock all the terminals into one terminal, instead of having the current T1 and T2.

I have to say that BHX has improved over the past few years -the new departures area in the Main Terminal (T1) is actually really nice, and the new pier also looks good -EK has a lounge there (the only airline with a dedicated lounge at BHX for their twice daily 777-300 DXB flights). The UK Border Area also looks good, although it is actually slower than passport control at heathrow t5!

Ah well, I'll get off my soapbox now.
