If you're really interested in trying 1k, you could always shoot for it next year.

I always try to have 60-70,000 miles by July 1st so that I don't have to scramble at the end of the year.

Maybe next year, plan a few MRs early in the year during down times or super low fares after the holidays. Worst case scenario, you do the runs and don't travel enough to make 1k, but you still get good CPMs since you're getting the 100% RDM bonus as a Premiere Exec and can redeem them for free travel.

Personally, I'd shoot for it this year only because you're "close" but you will know better whether the travel this year was normal, above normal, or below normal.
