Traveled with an iPad back in Sept/Oct to SIN, etc. I have to say that I fall on the other side of the equation -- I am still using my laptop for all computer related work, and the iPad for movies and various apps (ie translation, language lessons).

It is very interesting to hear comments from everyone else who have been able to make the transition. This gives me the motivation to try it myself. Or at last get proficient with the virutal keyboard (even though I already bought the BT keyboard and had it with me, I did not utilize it).

In summary, it's sometimes hard to each old dogs new tricks. Will give it another go during the upcoming December travel schedule and see how I do.

BTW -- The new Macbook Air is still very tempting. Small and powerful, I have been thinking about trading in the iPad for it. Will reevaluate in January.
