AA.com strikes again... I've had the pleasure of being the designated travel agent for a group trip to southern california (lucky me). When I use AA.com to search by fare I get higher fares than when I use search by schedule and then price the tickets. The same days, the same flights, just different dollars!

I've been hoping I can drop using Travelocity and Orbitz to do my pricing research and single source my data. But given AA.com doesn't play fair across the board, I guess I don't have to either. Plus there have been times where Travelocity has had better fares than AA.com (now that mileage may be in jeopardy, may think twice).

Have others seen this same anomaly with AA.com? Any tricks out there? FYI, I have found booking a multi-city trip when connecting can result in a lower fare too.
