No one's debating those points. The point is that we will achieve little traction complaining to our representatives in Congress when none of them has to experience the degrading experiences we do.
I agree it would have been nice if he went through the TSA just to see what all the fuss is about. However, Speaker of the House is third in line for president. He gets protection like a Cabinet position, not a Congressman, and one could argue there is a national security interest in his personal safety. At the TSA hearings this week, most of the Senators said they used security.
