CEO: better food needed in longhaul Y
In an interview in the Ilta-Sanomat paper AY's CEO Mika Vehviläinen admits that the food on the longhaul flights economy class is below the average. One of the reasons is that it is not well suited to the majority of yhe passengers, the Asians. Improvements will be made both in quality (more oriental flavours) and quantity. There should also be some improvements in the AY+.
Somehow, Mika Vehviläinen seems to be an honest guy so I think this will not turn out to be a further
"enhancement".
