If money is more important than miles or status (heresy, I know) there are plenty of discounters who can sell you a r/t for $500-600 which usually includes some hotel nights as well. Similarly, Aerolineas Argentinos flies JFK-EZE and MIA-EZE, usually for less. Somebody can correct me if I'm wrong but Aero Arg is operated by Iberia - not that it helps with miles, etc.</font>
You can still get it on those dates for $635 plus taxes total around $700 on American Airlines with cheaptickets.com, not sure about miles though
