Switching to AA (ruby with Qantas), any problems with security/boarding etc?
Hi all,
I've moved from Australia to London and attained one world ruby on Qantas.
As I wont be flying to Australia every year, I'm going to switch programs to AA (I will be flying to the US quite a bit).
I am flying London-Chicago using my AA advantage account (starting from scratch). When I show my ruby one world card at check in they should give me ruby benefits, but what about having 'AA advantage priority' printed on my boarding pass etc to go through security and boarding early? Will they do this or do I have to explain at every point (eg security, boarding etc) my situation of being between programs?
I dont want to do the AA challenge btw.
Thanks
