Is AA using fake chicken breast?
While I am no fan of the AA lunch, today from SFO to DFW was especially bad. I've never understood why the cannot incorporate at least one of the half decent Uno's pizza and bring back the warm cookies over the milanos.
Anyway I don't want to get off the specific subject-today's AA832...
The choices were the usual turkey/cheese croissant or chicken breast over greens. The standard grapes, milanos, and cheese/crackers were present too.
I ordered the chicken which was described as a chicken breast with pasta and southwest salad.
The salad was some greens with a few bits of corn. The pasta was tossed in some kind of slimy tomato sauce.
It was the chicken however that took the prize of worst food.
The first bite of chicken breast I took had a bizarre sponge-like or springiness to it.
I then looked closer at a cross section and there were some gelatinous globs in the meat.
Is it possible that AA is now taking some type of fake or very processed chicken meat and molding it into a fake breast?
This was truly disgusting. I would have much preferred the bistro bag.
