That's generally because there will be nothing left in WT/WT+!!! We get catered 100% so if everyone takes a hot meal the oven will be empty. Even worse, if you drop a meal, you need to pray to the big catering God in the sky that someone refuses a meal or you have a lot of explaining to do!!!
Club is catered to 120% (approx - not sure of the exact percentage) of passenger load so there will always be wastage of food in this cabin.
