Yes and Yes. I started flying AA because the additional legroom in coach is of value to me and I am willing pay a bit more to fly AA vs., say UA, for the same route. If AA ditches MRTC on planes on my routes, then I see no reason why I should not just go for the cheapest fare available and my "allegiance" would be to no company.
