I fly mainly paid for (coach) transatlantic on AA and for me MRTC is the overriding reason for going out of my way to fly AA.

Sure, the Aadvantage program is very good, but it isn't enough to compensate for (usually) higher fares with AA, especially from regional UK airports, having to hub through London, inferior food, paid for drinks and (often but not always) the less than welcoming AA FAs.

So, no more MRTC, hello BA, VS, KL, CO and goodbye AA (unless you can guarantee me row 31)
