I'd be very disappointed and have to think long and hard if MRTC went away. During the last 18 months all my flights have been personally paid for transatlantic ones, so it's always going to mean coach class for me unless I'm lucky enough to get an op-up. In the past I always used to fly BA (using courier flights whenever possible) and I put up with the somewhat cramped seat pitch, not knowing any better. Then in Sept '02 AA came up trumps offering a price I couldn't refuse and I haven't looked back since!
The MRTC makes enough of a difference to me with my 34" inseam that I'll pay a few quid extra or take a slightly less than perfect route or time slot on occasion. I also like the AAdvantage mileage scheme a great deal, managing to get Platinum status by taking an extra transatlantic flight to achieve it which I would never have dreamt of doing before AA came into my life!

... I'd be very sad to leave...
But, in the event of MRTC going, I suspect that prices & schedules would soon be the only deciding factors for me.
