Several years ago on Dec 30, I needed about 100 miles more than my roundtrip DCA-DTW to make gold, so I flew to FNT instead for about $5 more. Unfortuntely, I had to sit in DTW for about 3 hours, and my family had to drive from Warren to Flint to pick me up. But, I was gold the next year!

And Bishop is a nice little airport.
