Finally, a scenario that I don't think has been addressed in this thread.

I wanted to do the flights for two reward tickets to give to family members in London England, but it says that to qualify you must be a resident of Canada, the US, Puerto Rico or US Virgin Islands.

AA customer service told me that you only had to be a resident of these countries to qualify and GET the ticket (so I can get it), but that after it could be transferred to a resident of any country.
