Correct. There's no AA* inventory classes for the BA premium economy cabin; it's simply not sold.

I would expect this to be solved once they fully integrate the business; as it stands right now, only codeshare and FF have been launched, but everything else, including joint fares, has not been implemented yet.

However, as someone said, if you're booking a revenue flight then booking on BA as opposed to AA* no longer makes any difference as far as AAdvantage goes (unless you're Gold, where BA jibs you from the 25% elite status bonus miles--and I just noticed that you are gold...). ^
