But it brings up a point: some of the FT members have promised you will physically strike a screener if your patted down, and then have the screener arrested. After this incident, I doubt that claim can be made with a straight face.
Heck, if this person was obviously joking, gave the screener a light tap on the chest, how would it go if one up and clobbered a screener? Should be clearn now: it wouldn't go good for the passenger.
Nope. I'd certainly try to avoid it myself, and I doubt I could recommend it to anyone else. But if it did come to it, you'd have to go for broke. Make sure the phrase "reconstructive surgery" is associated with the event.
